About the Together in Ministry Network
Together in Ministry Network is an idea birthed among few close friends as they discussed the implications of Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 as. The primary theme or idea emerging was the need to enable Christians, ministers of the Gospel, Christian organisations and civil communities to work closely together without losing identity, individuality or uniqueness; by pooling resources and personnel, and participating in and supporting each other in events, projects and other activities, and discussion forums that demonstrates the person of Jesus Christ in action in the world today.
The name Together in Ministry was mooted by Apostle Malcolm Sobers, and this idea was subsequently launched by Duane and Denise Parris in England. Duane and Denise are a married couple, motivated, inspired and passionate to see the true manifestation of a united Church, the Body of Christ. Duane and Denise have responded to the call of God more than fifteen years ago, and have led local church initiatives, been involved in street children ministry, prison ministries, teaching and preaching, planted/pioneered and pastor a church in Guyana, and worked with the leadership of a few churches in the UK. Duane and Denise are active leaders and currently a part of multicultural New Life Church of the Crouch Valley Region Essex.
It is important to note that Together in Ministry is not a church or church denomination sect, though some of our board members are leaders in their churches, we do not offer any spiritual covering or accreditation, though we may facilitate the meeting and development of those relationships.
TiM is in the process of being a registered charity, with a board consisting of 3 directors. TiM has drawn on the experiences of several spiritual elders with in the Christian community here in the UK and Global, and has asked them to sit as advisers and partners, John Noble (A Spiritual Father in the Charismatic movement in the UK) and Apostle Malcolm Sobers of Grace Apostolic & Peace Network, based in Canada. As a network TiM is locally accountable to the Churches in Community Network, founded by Hugh Osgood.
Currently TiM has a correspondence database of over a thousand Christians, Ministers of the Gospel and Christian Organisations and have collaborated with several of them to host events that equips the church and demonstrates the existence of God here among humanity. Together in Ministry is committed to working with others in the Christian community to shape the debates unfolding in our communities today with the mind of Christ, to demonstrate to the world that God has established and expanding His Kingdom here on earth, and to unconditionally share and redefine love through the relationships we have.
